The beach

The beaches of Marseillan extend over 4 km and are made of very fine sand. The beach is gently sloping and extends far out into the water, which is great for children who can swim in complete safety.

The quality of the water at Marseillan-plage is such that the resort has been awarded the Blue Flag.

The beach in front of the campsite is secured and supervised by lifeguards from June to September.

Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round except from 1st July to 31st August.

On the left side of the campsite, after the port, there is a large sandy beach stretching along several dunes towards the beaches of Sète. The environment is well preserved.

Just before the harbour, still on the left of the direct access to the sea from the campsite, is the most animated area during the summer with the beach of honour which extends along a promenade from the harbour to the Avenue de la Méditerranée.

Finally, to the right of the campsite, in the direction of the beaches of Cap d'Agde, the beach at the level of the Bagnas nature reserve is mostly frequented by naturists.
