Our favourite: the easy 6km walk from Marseillan to Cap d'Agde, with views over the Bagnas lakes and Mont Saint-Loup. For a walk with a change of scenery, set off from the port of Marseillan village and walk along the Etang de Thau before arriving at this superb site, where the Canal du Midi ends. You can extend the walk as far as the Onglous lighthouse before retracing your steps.

Discover the Bagnas reserve, located between Marseillan and Agde and classified Natura 2000 and National Nature Reserve. With a little patience and your binoculars, you'll be able to spot some of the 200 species of birds that have been recorded on the site.
Marseillan is part of the Thau archipelago, which comprises 14 communes. It would be a shame not to explore this captivating and rejuvenating area. With 320 days of sunshine a year, it offers 54 hiking trails, 20 km of beaches, 11 museums and a host of culinary specialities. Head to Sète, Mèze, Bouzigues, Balaruc les Bains or Montbazin to enjoy all these marvels.
